Zebu Forno Lands in Hoboken
Around the State РCentral JerseyRED BANK Gallucci Associates of Teaneck has signed a lease for 2,500 square feet of space in Hoboken to open a Zebu Forno store. The Red Bank-based caf̩ chain has a location in that Monmouth County town owned by Zebu Forno Franchise LLC, and another in Holmdel owned and operated by RedHawk Food Services LLC of Middletown.
The eateries offer bread and pastries baked on site, plus sandwiches, salads and coffee. Similar to Starbucks, Zebu entices customers to stay for hours with no-pressure service, music and free wireless Internet access. Zebu Forno adds flat-screen televisions and a brick-wall décor to the mix. The Hoboken spot is expected to open in the first quarter of 2008. Zebu Forno Franchise hopes to have up to 20 locations in New Jersey and Pennsylvania by 2012
