Zelis announced on Aug. 18 that Amanda Eisel joined the Bedminster company as its new chief executive officer, succeeding current CEO R. Andrew Eckert, who is stepping down for personal reasons.
A 20-year strategic management and investment industry veteran, Eisel has focused her career at the intersection of health care and technology.
She has been involved with many of the leading growth companies in health care and technology, including Waystar, Rocket Software, Applied Systems and Viewpoint. Her most recent role was as an operating partner at Bain Capital. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Eisel was a consultant at McKinsey & Co., where she spent nearly a decade advising consumer companies.
