Columbia Care Inc. is expanding its menu of cannabis products at the two dispensaries it runs in New Jersey.

In a Feb. 27 press release, the New York City-based multistate operator (MSO) said it is rolling out a new line of formulated cannabis tablets under its Press brand in five markets across the U.S.

According to Columbia Care – which operates The Cannabist in Vineland and Deptford – the three newly launched Press 2.0 tablets were “created as a portable, convenient and discreet option” that feature “fast-acting cannabis and special formulations designed for morning, afternoon and night routines.”

Shine tablets, which include cannabigerol (CBG), green tea extract, turmeric and vitamin C, aim to give a morning boost, while Rally tablets, which are made with CBG, turmeric and vitamin B12, seek to combat the afternoon slump. Doze tablets, which have cannabidiol (CBD) and magnesium, can be taken to help wind down at the end of the day, according to the MSO.

BJ Carretta, senior vice president of brands, Columbia Care, said, “A growing number of patients and customers are looking for a discreet and reliable way to consume cannabis – which is exactly what our Press brand offers. Press 2.0 goes a step further by offering patients and customers the opportunity to explore three consciously crafted formulations with a range of THC to CBD, or THC to CBG ratios, plus functional ingredients. Through these new formulations, Press 2.0 is able to offer a wider selection to patients and customers who are seeking to integrate cannabis into their everyday routines, from morning until night.”

In addition to New Jersey, Columbia Care launched Press 2.0 in Delaware, Massachusetts, Virginia and West Virginia, with plans to bring it to additional states, pending regulatory approvals, the company said.
