During a Thursday event in Mays Landing, Rutgers University-Camden and Atlantic Cape Community College (ACCC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding. According to officials, the MOU formalizes a premier partnership between the two higher education institutions.
The collaboration is aimed at creating new pathways and making things more seamless, school officials said.

Rutgers-Camden Chancellor Antonio Tillis and Atlantic Cape President Barbara Gaba signed the formalized agreement.
“This partnership illustrates our commitment to the students, families, faculty, and staff that are a part of Atlantic Cape and our commitment to serve as an anchor institution for South Jersey and the Delaware Valley,” said Tillis.
“Today’s partnership signing is yet another important agreement between Atlantic Cape and Rutgers-Camden, as it offers students an opportunity to earn both an associate’s and bachelor’s degree at an affordable rate and with a seamless transition, providing a life-changing college education that students can use to enhance their career opportunities,” said Gaba.
