Abhyankar joins Spencer Savings Bank as treasurer

Dushyant Abhyankar joined Spencer Savings Bank as senior vice president and treasurer, according to a June 1 announcement.
In this role, he’ll provide leadership and contributions related to balance sheet management, liquidity and interest rate risk management, pricing strategies as well as overseeing the bank’s cash, securities and wholesale funding portfolios.
“We are excited to welcome Dushyant to the Spencer team and look forward to working with him,” said Jose Guerrero, chairman and CEO of Spencer Savings Bank. “He has an extensive and comprehensive background in finance, as well as strong leadership skills, which will serve us well. We look forward to continuing to grow Spencer with all of Dushyant’s contributions and expertise.”
Abhyankar joins Spencer Savings Bank with almost 15 years’ experience in treasury and finance. Most recently, he was vice president/strategy, planning and analysis and vice president/head of treasury at Cross River Bank.
