Banking

Oritani Bank, headquartered in Washington Township, announced recently that it has hired Michele Calise as senior vice president of retail banking.

Calise has more than 30 years of commercial banking experience and has previously led sales and service activities for more than 90 branches of Wachovia Bank and Wells Fargo in New Jersey and New York. In her new role at Oritani Bank, Calise will be responsible for all deposit-gathering efforts, including marketing, advertising, training and deposit product development.

Calise most recently served as the headquarters branch manager for Pascack Community Bank and Lakeland Bank. Before that, she was the senior vice president and chief retail officer for North Jersey Community Bank, now known as ConnectOne. She also serves on the board of the Center for Food Action and has helped raise money to prevent hunger and homelessness in northern New Jersey.

Communications

Frontline Medical Communications, offering services in digital, print and live events for health care professionals, announced that Michael Guire has recently joined the company as vice president of sales.

Guire is a sales veteran with more 20 years of experience in medical publishing. Guire’s previous positions at major medical publishing companies helped develop his knowledge of print and digital content offerings serving numerous medical specialties.

He has also worked previously as part of the executive committee of the Association of Medical Media and served as president in 2012.

Consulting

Bowman Consulting Group, formerly Omland Engineering, announced the hiring of Marc Olmeda as a new team member. He brings 20-plus years in the land surveying industry and is a professional licensed surveyor.

Bowman gains Olmeda’s land survey experience, ranging from the office to the field, specializing in high-definition laser scanning. His expertise includes managing projects related to 3D mapping of interior and exterior structural and architectural elements; complex steel and foundation layout; and right-of-way surveys.

Olmeda’s experience has been extensively with boundary and topographic surveys, stakeouts, ALTA/ACSM land title surveys, as-builts, control and utility surveys, FEMA flood certifications, and 3D Revit Modeling, BIM and TruView.

Engineering

Martha Bogle has joined HNTB Corporation as leader of the bridge inspection practice and associate vice president in New Jersey. She will work out of HNTB’s Parsippany office.

In her new role, Bogle will join HNTB’s bridge inspection team in providing services for complex, long-span, rail, transit and movable bridges, as well as systemwide bridge inspections.

Bogle is a senior-level engineer with more than 18 years of experience in the design of new bridges, rehabilitation of existing bridges and bridge inspection of simple and complex structures. Bogle has performed work with a variety of transportation agencies, including the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Jersey Transit and the New Jersey and Pennsylvania departments of transportation, among others.

Bogle received a Bachelor of Science in civil and environmental engineering from Lafayette College, and is a professional engineer in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Women’s Transportation Seminar.
