Plymouth Rock announced that for the past two years it has worked closely with Morristown-based Kimmerle Group to identify the right location in New Jersey for a new headquarters, as well as to manage the full design and build-out.

Kimmerle Group’s project management and architecture teams provided full coordination and oversight for the 125,000-square-foot headquarters space in Woodbridge in addition to design and architecture from the project’s inception through opening.

“The centralization of our New Jersey operations into this modern and beautiful space in Woodbridge is just one of the exciting changes our organization is undertaking as we continue to grow,” said Gerry Wilson, president and chief executive officer of Plymouth Rock Management Co. of New Jersey.

Kimmerle participated in the process early on, including reviewing possible sites and work letters for the lease, as well as outlining project schedules and budgets, coordinating furniture options and designing the layout.

Kimmerle Group was also in charge of managing the entire build-out. The firm’s design team was tasked with generating a top-of-line working environment that would consolidate Plymouth Rock’s two headquarters locations in Red Bank and Berkeley Heights into one location and hosting more than 700 employees.

Plymouth Rock is now the primary tenant, occupying space on six floors of a Class A building located at 581 Main St. in Woodbridge.
