Pennsauken-based Maple Direct Inc. announced Friday that it is expanding its operations through a merger with Northfield-based Edmunds Direct Mail Inc., according to Ron Lafalce, Maple Direct president.The two companies both focus on direct response, database management and processing, printing and fulfillment.
“Merging with Edmunds will serve to further strengthen Maple Direct in terms of the capabilities and customer service we can provide to our clients and the marketplace,” Lafalce said, according to a prepared statement. “This is just another step in helping Maple Direct provide high quality direct-mail printing and distribution services to our direct marketing clients.”
Lafalce joined Maple Direct as vice president of operations in 1984. He then became president in March 2014.
Maple Direct, a 30 year old company, is headquartered in a 34,000-square-foot facility and also owns a 5,000-square-foot facility in Phoenix, Arizona, and another facility in Hollywood, Florida. It currently has 75 full-time employees.
“As a result of our gaming industry experience and their requirements in terms of quality control, accountability, data security, responsiveness and deadlines, we are able to handle projects of any scope while consistently exceeding our clients’ expectations,” Lafalce said in a prepared statement.
Financial terms of the merger were not disclosed.
“We are pleased and excited to be joining the Maple Direct family of companies,” Kathy Biglin, CEO and president of Edmunds Direct Mail, said in a prepared statement. “This merger brings together two of the strongest names in the direct mail industry. By joining together we will greatly enhance our overall capabilities, which will benefit all of our customers and employees.”
