Jersey City-based software company Relayware has named a new CEO, it announced Wednesday.Gordon Rapkin, who has been a CEO with three other high-tech companies, including Archive Systems and Protegrity, will take over for Bob Mann, the company said. Rapkin is a veteran of 35 years of technology and channel experience.
Mann will continue to chair the Relayware board.
“Relayware is at the forefront of driving channel revenue, and its continuous, exceptional momentum is a shining example of the strength of our platform,” Rapkin said in a prepared statement. “In 2015, the company doubled its customer base and revenues surged by 35 percent, evidence that more businesses are awakening to the fact that a partner channel is a force multiplier. We drive business success by maximizing the value of partner networks and delivering data-driving business insights.
“As CEO, my goal is to accelerate our success as we continue to lead the way with the premier partner relationship management platform.”
In his new role, Rapkin will lead the company’s expansion into new vertical markets, Relayware said, and grow its international customer base.
