NAI Mertz said March 16 that its President Scott Mertz completed the sale of a 116,284-square-foot industrial building located at 1700 Suckle Highway in Pennsauken. Mertz represented the building owner, Seyon Group, in the transaction.
“Shark Tank” TV show success, Scrub Daddy, purchased the building for $10.7 million. Scrub Daddy is relocating its “smiley-faced” sponge operations, and all of its employees, from three separate locations in Pennsylvania. The strong growth Scrub Daddy has experienced since its appearance on “Shark Tank” was bolstered further by the heightened demand for cleaning products resulting from the pandemic.
“It’s been a pleasure seeing the improvements that Seyon has made to this facility pay off in attracting a nationally prominent tenant,” stated Mertz. “The location will be a perfect headquarters for Scrub Daddy to continue its impressive growth.”
Located on Route 130 and just five minutes from Philadelphia, 1700 Suckle Highway, is a newly renovated building on a 7.69-acre lot. It features ample parking for both employee vehicles and trailers, 17-foot clear ceiling heights, and both tailgate and drive-in loading.
