SHI makes major investment in NJ AI & Cyber Labs facility

Somerset-headquartered SHI International announced Oct. 9 a multimillion-dollar investment in the state-of-the-art & Cyber Labs here in the Garden State.

The new facility is co-located in SHI’s Ridge Data Center Factory in Piscataway. The site houses the leading technology solutions provider’s flagship among a global network of four Data Center Factories.

Key features of the new AI & Cyber Labs facility include:

  • Offers comprehensive, next-generation generative AI capabilities, supporting customers from ideation and prototyping services to full datacenter-scale infrastructure delivery; also offers access to AI experts
  • In collaboration with leading AI technology partners, will enable customers to experiment with diverse AI and cyber use cases, virtually any large language model (LLM) and various infrastructure configurations in a secure, controlled environment
  • Equipped with NVIDIA accelerated computing and NVIDIA AI Enterprise software platform
  • At launch, offers:
      • AI readiness and program consulting
      • Data assessment workshops
      • Advanced generative AI services covering LLM fine-tuning, customer RAG integration, distributed machine learning implementation and end-user adoption training

 

Currently, AI & Cyber Labs offers services across every major public cloud provider. The new physical facility expects to officially open in the first quarter of 2025.

SHI says the design of the new labs aims to meet customers at any stage of their AI journey. Additionally, the company can now deliver a fully integrated turnkey AI solution.
