Murphy set to deliver first in-person State of the State Address since 2020

The speech comes as New Jersey continues to move beyond the pandemic and is expected to tout efforts to improve affordability, as well as upcoming initiatives and programs.

Murphy, in annual address, declares new COVID emergency 

During his State of the State speech, Gov. Phil Murphy said the move “won’t bring any changes” to people’s day-to-day lives, and reiterated his campaign assertion that he will not raise taxes in his second term while celebrating wins from his first.
