Wawa opened in Butler on Dec. 9. – WAWA
Wawa opened a store at 1512 Route 23 in Butler on Dec. 9.
Doors opened at 8 a.m. Wednesday. This is the first Wawa store in Butler and fourth store in Morris County.
The new Butler store leans into innovations in convenience including mobile ordering, curbside pickup, delivery and catering options, while also featuring the latest in Wawa’s fresh, quality and convenient food options, including new dinner menu offerings, such as burgers, pasta, kids meals, and heat and eat meals.
“At Wawa, our core purpose is to go beyond filling orders to fulfill lives, every day, and that has never been stronger than it is now as we focus on a year of strong store growth and an enhancement of the way we deliver the Wawa experience through what we call, ‘Boundless Convenience,” said CEO and President Chris Gheysens. “As new stores open throughout the year, we will continue to bring not just a new Wawa to the community but a commitment to community partnerships, new jobs and growth. We look forward to meeting all our new friends and neighbors in the Butler community!”
As part of the grand opening celebration, Wawa is hosting a “Hoagies for Heroes” hoagie building competition on opening day, which will recognize everyday heroes in the Butler Police Department, Butler Fire Department, and Tri Boro First Aid Squad with $1,000 donation to each department’s charity of choice.
The store’s opening created approximately 50 jobs. Zachary Danciak will serve as its general manager.
Wawa will offer free coffee to all customers at this location through Dec. 12.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
