WineChateau.com opens new location

Piscataway location is the wine retailerÂs largest brick-and-mortar operation.MetuchenÂs WineChateau.com said late Monday it opened its newest and largest location in Piscataway. The new 10,000-square-foot store is located at the Centennial Shopping Plaza on Centennial Avenue. Wine Chateau is an online and bricks-and-mortar seller of wine.

The company operated a store in South Orange that closed in June. WineChateau currently operates a store and warehouse in Metuchen and a store in South River, said spokeswoman Fern Flamberg.

In addition to the new location, Wine Chateau made an addition to its Web site. A new blog, Uncork Life, is written by Brian Freedman, director of wine education at The Wine School of Philadelphia; it offers customers information on wine history and pairing wine with food.
