AccessIT Signs Deal with Showplace Cinemas

AccessIT provides software, services and projectors for digital movie exhibition, replacing 35mm film. Showplace will convert 39 screens in three Indiana theaters to AccessITÂs software and digital projectors, making it the 11th chain to make the switch with the company.
The deal brings the count of AccessITÂs digital conversions to 3,486 screens. The company is committed to converting 4,000 screens to the new format. AccessIT shares were trading at $9.22 early this afternoon, down from yesterdayÂs close of $9.29.
