Nine new tenants signed on for a collective 32,868 square feet at Newport Center in Jersey City.

CBRE announced it completed the agreements for the LeFrak-owned office tower complex located at 100 and 111 Town Square Place on the Hudson River waterfront on Jan. 13.

“100 & 111 Town Square Place are exceptional locations serving the needs of global and Fortune 500 tenants,” said CBRE’s Howard Fiddle, who along with Greg Barkan, Erin Wenzler, Gregg Rothkin and Caroline Merck led office leasing at Newport Center on behalf of building ownership.

“The newest leases at the Newport Center office complex signify the comeback of the office market as tenants make definitive decisions about their real estate requirements,” Fiddle added.

The LeFrak team was led by Marylou Berk, Ray Kawas and Julie Prykull.

AnGes, Profectus Beauty, GTD Solutions, Xeneta, Lotto.com, Open Vault and PlayStar Gaming signed on for 111 Town Square Place. The agreements were part of a pre-build campaign that kicked off last year. Suites offer modern finishes with an industrial vibe – polished concrete floors, exposed high ceilings and natural light – in addition to glass-front interior offices and conference rooms along with high-end pantries.

On the 11th floor of the building, LeFrak created a tenant amenity center with a lounge and conference center.

Following the recent commitments – and before the completion of construction – just one pre-built unit is still available at the property, according to CBRE. Due to their success, though, the firm said it and LeFrak are developing comparable offerings, slated to be completed this summer, on the fourth floor of the building and also on the eighth floor at 499 Washington Blvd.

The remaining two lease agreements were for medical office space on the sixth floor at 100 Town Square Place. Everside Health’s deal covers 3,453 square feet, while RMA committed to 5,167 square feet.
