“I’d emphasize the importance of building a strong network both within your company and within the industry at large, which is something I didn’t learn until later in my career. Networking is an invaluable tool that can truly be instrumental in getting you to the next step of your career. It allows you to build connections and learn from industry mavens. I’d also suggested joining professional associations that are in line with your career goals – and don’t be afraid to seize opportunities when they arise.”
