CityMD opens new urgent care center in Montvale

CityMD on Monday announced the opening of its 21st location in New Jersey and the fifth in Bergen County. The new site is located at 62 Farm View in Montvale, and is uniquely situated at a historic farm turned retail experience – The Shoppes at DePiero Farm.

“Many Bergen County residents are familiar with the CityMD brand in Manhattan and in neighboring communities in the region and will view the newest CityMD as a welcome addition to Montvale,” said Dr. Jack Cappitelli, chief medical officer, NJ Region. “The community can rely on CityMD sites throughout Bergen County to provide convenient urgent care, as well as care and management after the initial visit within Summit CityMD’s complete care model. Joining Mayor Ghassali were Woodcliff Lake Mayor Carlos Rendo, Park Ridge Mayor Keith Misciagna, Bergen County Freeholder Thomas Sullivan and Montvale Planning Board Chairman John DePinto.

Patients of all ages visit CityMD for many reasons, including treatment for upper respiratory infections, colds and flu (including the flu vaccine), asthma, allergies, minor lacerations, sore throats, insect bites and rashes, among other conditions. On-site doctors can diagnose and treat pink eye, croup, minor orthopedic injuries, and nosebleeds. Rapid testing for flu, strep throat, mononucleosis, UTIs and other conditions are also among available services.

With urgent care locations throughout New York and New Jersey, CityMD continues to offer three forms of COVID-19 testing at all locations – Rapid Test (nasal swab), the PCR (nasal swab) diagnostic test and the Serum Antibody IgG (blood test).
