Wegmans has expanded its curbside pickup program to all its New Jersey locations through a partnership with Instacart.

The grocer began its curbside program in its hometown of Rochester, N.Y. in February and is in the process of rolling it out to its six-state footprint.

“Our customers are busy, so when it comes to grocery shopping, they appreciate a range of options that allows them to get the task done with ease, when and how they want,” said Erica Tickle, Wegmans e-commerce group manager in a statement. “Now, it’s as simple as placing your order online and picking up curbside at your convenience, all with no additional delivery fee or tipping.”

Curbside pickup requires a minimum order of $10. Orders can be done via the Instacart app, and once shopped, products are held in a temperature-controlled area until the customer arrives.

When the order is ready, customers are notified with instructions for pickup, and when the customer arrives, a Wegmans employee will load the groceries into their car.
