If you weren’t lucky enough to score a ticket to Sunday’s FIFA World Cup Final at MetLife Stadium, there are still plenty of places across New Jersey to experience the excitement alongside fellow fans.
From official state-supported watch parties to community festivals, breweries, bars and fan zones, municipalities and organizations across North, Central and South Jersey will host events leading up to the 3 p.m. kickoff as Argentina and Spain meet for the sport’s biggest prize.
Several of the largest public celebrations are part of the New Jersey World Cup Community Initiative. Choose New Jersey created the $5 million grant program in partnership with the New Jersey Economic Development Authority and the FIFA World Cup 2026 New York/New Jersey Host Committee to support community events throughout the tournament.

Beyond the state-supported watch parties, communities, downtowns, restaurants, bars and entertainment venues across New Jersey will also host their own celebrations. Municipalities and local businesses are organizing outdoor viewing events, live entertainment and family activities for the championship.

American Dream has served as one of the tournament’s primary hubs for fan activations, viewing events and sponsor experiences throughout the World Cup. The mall will host championship day programming Sunday, including pregame festivities throughout the complex and a ticketed event inside its indoor arena.
Newark Fan Village has served as the Ironbound neighborhood’s hub for World Cup viewing throughout the tournament since opening June 11. It will conclude its run on championship day at 70 Ferry St., the site of the former Iberia Restaurant lot. The village has shown every match on two massive LED screens for free. Admission to the final remains free and open to all.
The City of Hoboken will once again transform portions of the city into outdoor fan zones from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the final. The celebration will also include live music, lawn games, face painting, pop-up vendors and family-friendly activities before the 3 p.m. kickoff. Watch parties and activities will take place along 1st Street and 14th Street, featuring participating bars and restaurants including:
The City of Jersey City will host its final citywide watch party from noon to 6 p.m. along Claremont Avenue between Mallory and West Side avenues. The event combines outdoor viewing of the final with a multicultural festival, featuring live DJs, cultural performances and an immersive “World Village” celebrating the cultures that make up Jersey City.
The Yard at College Avenue will serve as New Brunswick’s World Cup headquarters for the final July 19 with a live DJ starting at 1:00 p.m., face painting beginning at 2:30 p.m. and kickoff at 3 p.m. The celebration will also include giveaways throughout the day
ShopRite will conclude its statewide “We Kick It Here Tour” with a free soccer-themed fan festival from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at ShopRite of Kearny, featuring interactive games, giveaways, product sampling and family activities just miles from the stadium.
Whether you’re in North, Central or South Jersey, or the Jersey Shore, there is no shortage of places to experience the atmosphere as the world turns its attention to New Jersey for the FIFA World Cup Final.
