Cushman & Wakefield announced its New Jersey retail team arranged a 15,000-square-foot lease with expanding global fitness franchise UFC GYM at Riverdale Square.

The 72,000-square-foot lifestyle center is located at 92 Route 23 N. in Riverdale in Morris County.

David Townes and Alana Friedman of the firm’s East Rutherford office arranged the long-term lease; Susan Preisler of Zoltek Realty served as tenant broker.

A fall 2019 opening is planned. Cushman & Wakefield secured the UFC GYM lease within two months of being awarded the agency assignment.

Riverdale Square boasts a mix of national, regional and local retailers, restaurants and service providers. Situated just off Interstate 287, the center serves a residential population of more than 106,000 people within a five-mile radius and a daily traffic count of 53,500 vehicles, according to Cushman. Its immediate neighborhood features many of recognizabe names in retail including BJs, Target and Home Depot, among others.

Remaining space availabilities at Riverdale Square range from 1,500 square feet to about 3,875 square feet.
