NJBIZ is introducing a brand-new awards program for 2026.  

The NJBIZ Board Leadership Awards recognize outstanding board members whose governance, expertise and commitment have made a meaningful impact on their organizations and communities.  

Honorees will be selected based on their strategic impact, commitment, leadership and additional contributions to their boards. 

“So many professionals across New Jersey give their time and energy to organizations they care deeply about,” said NJBIZ Associate Publisher and General Manager AnnMarie Karczmit. “This new awards program allows for a more widespread way to share appreciation for these individuals.” 

Eligibility requirements include: 

• The company or organization of which the nominee serves on the board must have a physical office in New Jersey 
• May be for-profit or not-for-profit 
• May be self-nominated or nominated by another person 

An in-person event will celebrate honorees Aug. 4 at The Marigold in Somerset. The morning will begin with breakfast and networking, followed by the award presentation. Each honoree will also feature in a special event supplement distributed at the ceremony and included in a future issue of NJBIZ. 

NJBIZ has made the nomination process easy through an online form available on the event page. Submissions for the 2026 program are due June 1.
