Rochelle Park-based executive search firm ZRG acquired a consulting and advisory firm targeting company cultural transformation.

Walking the Talk, founded 11 years ago, focuses heavily on the workplace “culture agenda” and “understanding the impact culture has on growth, performance and reputation,” ZRG said in a July 8 statement.

Their engagements with clients last anywhere from a few months to several years, ZRG said.

“We intend to use our expertise in the field of culture, behavior and mindset to enhance ZRG’s ability to select the best candidates for clients, evaluating their contribution to the client’s culture goals.” reads a statement from Carolyn Taylor, chief executive officer at Walking the Talk.  “It will be exciting to see our advisory work extend into hiring, in a measured way.”

ZRG said it’s already begun to fold Walking the Talk’s “intellectual property and cultural insights into its Zi platform,” meaning clients would be able to utilize a beefed up ZRG product that provides more “data and more thoughtfulness” into hiring decisions
