First National Realty Partners (FNRP) acquired Tops Plaza in Lockport, N.Y., the Red Bank-based real estate investment firm announced May 13.
Located at 5287 S. Transit Road, the 166,634-square-foot grocery-anchored shopping center is 97% occupied, and features a 92,000-square-foot Tops grocery store. The property adds a secure and growing income stream to FNRP’s rapidly growing portfolio of premier real estate assets throughout the United States.
“Tops Plaza is a prime example of a market-dominant center”, said Matt Annibale, director of acquisitions at FNRP. “Tops performs exceptionally well here and is complemented by a variety of other marquee tenants such as TJ Maxx, Five Below, and Shoe Department.”
The latest announcement comes on the heels of another grocery-anchored acquisition the investment firm made on May 11 of a center in Antioch, Tenn., that features a 59,112-square-foot Kroger. That asset, The Shoppes at Hickory Hollow, is a 144,469-square-foot, 97% occupied, market-dominant shopping center located approximately 13 miles southeast of downtown Nashville, adding a secure and high-performing anchor that is joined by other tenants that help drive traffic to the center.
