ACCOUNTING

Allan J. Turoff has joined the Lawrenceville

office of J.H. Cohn, an accounting and consulting firm, as a manager in the tax company”s

department. A graduate of Temple University with a bachelor”s degree in accounting Turoff previously managed his own firm in Voorhees.

Shruti Patel has joined Livingston-based Wiss & Company as a staff accountant. A graduate of Baruch College, she previously worked for Alliance Capital as an account manager.

Alyssa Kessler has joined the media

department of DKB & Partners in

Morristown as media supervisor. Prior to this, Kessler was a media supervisor at Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising in New York. She received a bachelor”s degree in advertising from the University of Hartford. In addition to the

appointment of Kessler, DKB & Partners has promoted Brian Hagen to the position of

senior art director. Prior to this, Hagen worked as an art director. He earned a degree in fine arts from Trenton State College.

BANKING

Michael J. Giacobello has been promoted to the position of executive vice president and director of retail delivery at Summit Bank. Giacobello joined the Princeton-based bank in 1981, and was most recently regional

president for the bank”s central New Jersey area. He earned a bachelor”s degree in

accounting from Shippensburg University.

CHEMICALS

Sean Frick has been appointed sales

representative at Ridgefield Park-based Degussa”s silicas and chemical catalyst”s division. Prior to this, Frick worked for Bayer. He earned an MBA from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

COMMUNICATIONS

Lynne Russo has joined Eatontown-based Lanmark Group as telemarketing director. Prior to this, Russo was director of commercial sales for Microwarehouse, a Lakewood-based direct catalog marketer of computer related products. She attended Miami Dade College in Florida and majored in business.

EDUCATION

Richard D. Chamberlain has been appointed vice president for development and university relations at Rider University in Lawrenceville. Most recently, Chamberlain was vice president development at Cook Children”s Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas. He earned an AB

degree in economics from Oberlin College. Meanwhile, Rider University has named Christina B. Petruska as vice president for

institutional planning. A graduate of Rutgers University”s Douglass College, Petruska earned a bachelor”s degree in political science. She joined Rider in 1979 and was most recently the associate vice president for institutional services and also special assistant to the president.

FINANCE

Gilbert A. Zimmerman, Jr. has joined

Morristown-based U.S. Trust Company of New Jersey as a senior vice president. He

previously worked for J.P. Morgan. Zimmerman earned a bachelor”s degree in finance from

Seton Hall University.

HEALTH CARE

Dr. Bani A. Sarma has joined the obstetrics/gynecology department of Capital Health System in Trenton. Dr. Sarma received her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. She is also a junior

fellow of the American College of

Obstetricians/Gynecologists.

HOSPITALITY

Danny Corral has been appointed regional controller at the golf and hospitality division of Matrix Development Group in Cranbury. A graduate of LaSalle University in the

Philippines, Corral was most recently employed as controller at the Raritan Valley Club.

Kristin Button has been promoted to the

position of account supervisor at Dugan Valva Contess, a Morristown-based marketing and communications company. A graduate of

Muhlenberg College, Allentown, Pennsylvania, with a bachelor”s degree in communications, she most recently held the position of senior account executive. In addition, Michael Carri has been promoted to the position of creative group head. Carri was most recently a senior copywriter. He graduated from Drew

University in Madison with a bachelor”s

degree in psychology.

Drew M. Gattuso has rejoined Shopper”s Charge Accounts in Mahwah as vice president of marketing. Most recently, Gattuso was assistant vice president for product development at Beneficial National Bank”s private label credit card unit. He holds a BS in finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

Joseph Kulakowski has been promoted to district manager at Associated Global

Systems in Newark. Kulakowski, who joined

James Cambier has been appointed chief

technology officer at Mount Laurel-based IriScan. Most recently, he was technical director at PAR

Vision Systems in New Hartford, Connecticut. Cambier earned an MSEE and Ph.D. from the

University of Rochester.

Edward D. Vallejo has been appointed

treasurer at the corporate center of Voorhees-based American Water Works. Vallejo, who was most recently vice president, private client services, at Barnett Bank Asset Management in Miami, Florida, received an MBA from Stern School of Business, New York University. In addition, Kathleen A. Rohrbaugh has joined American Water Works as director of corporate communications. A former public

affairs manager in the agricultural products group of FMC Corporation in Philadelphia, Rohrbaugh earned a BA in English-speech communications from Iowa State University.
