Former food delivery startup launched its second brick-and-mortar location in New Jersey.

After unveiling its first physical restaurant this summer in Westfield, the Cranford-based venture started by entrepreneur Marc Lore has officially opened in .

Located at 221 River St. in the Waterfront Corporate Center III, the 3,700-square-foot space celebrated its Nov. 2 grand opening with free samples, giveaways, promotions and music.

Featuring a collection of acclaimed chefs and eateries, Wonder markets itself as a “fast fine” option that allows customers to order from multiple at once for delivery, pick-up or dining in.

In Hoboken, Wonder’s network of partnering establishments includes: Di Fara Pizza (pizza), Yasas by Michael Symon (Greek), Alanza (Italian), Barrio Café (Mexican), Bobby Flay Steak (Steakhouse), Burger Baby (American), Chai Pani (Indian), Chios Taverna by Michael Symon (Greek), Fred’s Meat & Bread (Sandwiches), Maydan (Middle Eastern), Royal Greens (Salads), Tejas Barbecue (BBQ), Mr. D’s Fried Chicken (Fried Chicken), The Mainstay by Marc Murphy (American) and Wing Trip (Wings).

Originally founded as a business based on mobile kitchens that prepared -designed meals outside of customers’ homes, Lore announced in January the business was rethinking its approach and would instead focus on physical locations offering options from restaurants that Wonder has licensing deals with.

Since then, the brand has focused on pivoting to the new concept, opening three eateries in New York City on the Upper West Side, Chelsea and Brooklyn, and in Westfield, New Jersey.

Following Hoboken, Wonder plans on adding two outposts in Bergen County (1 Union Ave, Cresskill; 80 Godwin Ave., Midland Park) and one in Union County (219 Morris Ave., Springfield) by the end of 2023. Wonder also expects to open two more restaurants in New York, as well as make its Pennsylvania debut in Quakertown.
