Harrison’s new luxury rental community Dey & Bergen surges to 70% leased

BNE Real Estate Group said July 16 that residents are pouring back into new luxury rental communities in urban areas, and nowhere is that more apparent than in Harrison’s Dey & Bergen apartments.

Just two months after the community opened its doors to a collection of 242 residences and more than 45,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities along the waterfront, Dey & Bergen has already surpassed 70% leased.

“City living is back,” said David Pantirer, a partner at BNE Real Estate Group, which developed Dey & Bergen along with partners Hornrock Properties and Canoe Brook Development. “Residents who left this area during the pandemic are returning in droves because they’re going back to work in person in the coming months and because they’ve missed the convenience and energy of living in a dynamic neighborhood. Renters are now seizing the opportunity to upgrade their apartment experience at Dey & Bergen, where our modern residences and robust amenity package introduces ultra-luxury rental living at a value that is clearly resonating in the marketplace.”

The community’s popularity is aided by its amenity offerings and services that add up to an all-inclusive lifestyle. Concierge service, a riverfront swimming pool, multiple social and entertainment lounges, a commercial-grade fitness center, yoga studio, coworking lounge with private offices, indoor and outdoor bars, two dog runs and a pet spa, kid’s playroom, outdoor turf lawn with a movie screen, BBQs, firepits, and covered parking with direct access to every floor are just some of the features available.

Dey & Bergen’s unique design aesthetic comes from interior designer Mary Cook Associates, who helped shape the community’s lifestyle experience with a  mid-century modern approach throughout its amenity and lounge spaces.

The larger-than-average studio, one- and two-bedroom homes all come equipped with stylish finishes. Appointments include 9-foot ceilings, champagne oak flooring, oversized windows with water and city views, custom modular closets, and in-unit washer and dryers.

Monthly rents currently start from the $1,500s with incentives of up to four months free for a limited time on studio residences, and up to three months free on one- and two-bedroom residences. Immediate occupancy is available.

Dey & Bergen residents enjoy a well-connected lifestyle. Manhattan is a 20-minute PATH train ride away and shopping, dining, cultural and entertainment destinations are just minutes away in nearby towns like Hoboken, Jersey City and downtown Newark. The New Jersey Turnpike and Route 280 provide residents with access to the Holland Tunnel and major employment centers throughout the state.
