A Morris County shopping center anchored by an AMC Theatres recently sold for $13.75 million. The sale underscores a persistent appetite for experiential retail concepts.
RIPCO Real Estate Managing Director of Investment Sales Seth Pollack and Nina Becker led the transaction, according to a recent announcement from the firm. The team represented the seller as well as sourced the buyer. Neither party was disclosed.
In addition to the movie theater, the Route 10 East Hanover property features additional experiential retail offerings to draw shoppers. Chuck E. Cheese offers entertainment for kids and families, while GolfTec provides golf instruction and custom club fitting.
The 70,549-square-foot center also boasts a structured parking deck to maximize parking inventory while supporting accessibility for customers.
Pollack said the property sits within “one of Northern New Jersey’s strongest suburban corridors.” The unique parking infrastructure, mix of nationally recognized tenants and strong traffic patterns came together for “an especially compelling opportunity.”
“Entertainment-driven retail continues to perform well in high-barrier suburban markets, particularly in locations with strong visibility and established consumer traffic,” said Becker. “This center is well-positioned for long-term success given its tenancy, accessibility and presence along Route 10.”
The East Hanover sale marks the latest activity from RIPCO, which recently expanded its New Jersey presence. Other deals include:
