Organizers expect to draw more than 1,250 attendees to Harborside 1 June 4, along with a marquee roster of speakers, for the Jersey City Summit for Real Estate Investment, Placemaking & Innovation.
The 11th iteration of the roundtable&advisory event is the first in Jersey City since Mayor James Solomon assumed office. Steven Fulop’s successor will participate in a fireside address, moderated by New Jersey Community Capital President and CEO Bernel Hall, Thursday at 150 Hudson St., one of several high-profile experts slated to present.
The annual symposium has drawn increasingly prominent participants since its launch, convening experts to explore what’s driving local real estate, economic development and innovation, investment, development and placemaking, capital markets, and operations and design.
The 601W Cos. returns in 2026 as venue partner for the third year running. The Jersey City Summit will take place on the fourth floor at Harborside, a 2 million-square-foot Class A office building offering direct access to New York City from the Jersey City waterfront.
Gov. Mikie Sherrill will deliver video remarks during the event.
Beyond the mayor’s engagement, the Jersey City Summit will feature two additional fireside chats.

Connell Foley Real Estate & Land Use co-chair W. Nevins McCann returns to the summit, leading a discussion with Urby founder and CEO David Barry and Ironstate Properties President and CEO Michael Barry.
In the afternoon, NJBIZ reporter Matthew Fazelpoor will lead a discussion with New Jersey City University President Andres Acebo and Saint Peter’s University President Hubert Benitez.
