H&M’s high-end sustainable fashion brand Cos is making its New Jersey debut at American Dream.

Located on Level 2 near Court D, the 6,103-square-foot space opened Dec. 9 and offers a range of ready-to-wear clothing for women and men as well as accessories.

Founded in 2007, Cos is known for its minimalistic fashion with a focus on craftsmanship, fine detail and modern tailoring.

Cos is also committed to circularity, having made significant strides in sustainability in recent years, such as a collection of activewear made from recycled fabrics and organic cotton, a line of repaired merchandise as well as the creation of a platform that allows customers to buy and sell their used Cos apparel.

As part of a goal to reduce store CO2 emissions, American Dream is the latest Cos location to open with the company’s new, more circular concept. According to the mall, 48% of the materials used to build the new shop were recycled from other Cos stores — including the rails and concrete plinths.

The brand’s 265-plus store portfolio spans 47 physical markets and 38 markets online. Within the U.S., Cos has 13 locations in major cities including New York, Boston, Houston, Atlanta, Chicago and Washington, D.C.

Cos at American Dream is open Monday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

In commenting on the grand opening, Bryan Gaus, senior vice president and general manager of American Dream said, “We are beyond excited to welcome COS to New Jersey, as American Dream continues to be the coveted address for global brands.”

The megamall is also welcoming the arrival of Dream Nail & Spa. 

Following its Dec. 8 grand opening, the full-service salon offers services including hair, manicures, pedicures, eyelash extensions, massage and reflexology.

Located on Level 3 in Court C, the salon is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays.
