Holland Ridge Farms in Cream Ridge has undergone a massive expansion, and it’s inviting New Jerseyans to come see.

Last year, the family-run farm sat on 153 acres in Monmouth County; it has now expanded to 300 acres.

This fall, the farm planted 8 million tulip bulbs to prepare for U-Pick Tulips 2022 with the goal of becoming the biggest U-Pick flower farm in the United States.

The farm, which hosts a similar sunflower event in the fall, said tulips are beginning to sprout and will be ready for the April event.

In addition to the U-Pick option and food trucks, Holland Ridge Farms also announced new attractions for 2022, including the chance to feed its farm animals, complimentary shuttles, Holland history lessons and more.

Looking for a start date for the event? The farm said that “depends on Mother Nature and when the tulips start to bloom.” Traditionally, the event opens in mid-April and lasts about 3 weeks. Tickets will be sold online only for $13 a person (ages 3 and older). Additionally, attendees can pick their own tulips for $1 per stem.
