Colliers announced Aug. 23 it appointed two real estate veterans, Douglas Bansbach and Linda Hill, as executive managing director and senior managing director, respectively. The pair bring to Colliers more than 45 years of combined experience across investment sales, landlord representation, national tenant representation and corporate asset dispositions, and will strengthen the firm’s industrial practice across key New Jersey markets.
The Bansbach-Hill team joins Colliers from Cushman & Wakefield where they established reputations as respected leaders in the New Jersey industrial market.
Over the course of their careers, Bansbach and Hill have completed several notable transactions, including securing a 450,000-square-foot lease to IDI Logistics, a 40-acre land lease for Arizona Beverage to build a 600,000-square-foot bottling plant, a 500,000-square-foot lease to DSV, and the sale of the former Ocean Spray facility in Bordentown.
The team also procured a 60-acre land site in Perth Amboy for Bridge Development, which plans to build 1 million square feet of industrial space at a later date.
“We’re thrilled to have industry professionals like Douglas and Linda join our growing New Jersey team,” said Dennis Waggner, executive managing director, market leader of Colliers New Jersey. “Attracting such well-respected leaders is evidence of our dedication to expanding our footprint across the state. Their years of expertise across a variety of sectors will be invaluable as we continue to deliver the best results for our clients.”
“I am very excited to join Colliers and join the New Jersey Industrial Team,” said Bansbach. “Colliers has demonstrated a commitment to hiring a world-class leadership team and I look forward to capitalizing on the many opportunities we see that will bring value to our clients.”
“Colliers’ collaborative environment, entrepreneurial and talented professionals and strong technology provides clients the best possible service in the industry,” said Hill. “I’m pleased to join Dennis’ team and believe that my 15 years spent in the industry will be a valuable asset to the firm.”
