Coworking space Industrious and real estate investment firm BentallGreenOak are partnering on a flexible workplace at Newport Tower in Jersey City.
The new space will span 43,000 square feet on the tower’s third floor and build upon Industrious’ strong regional network of flexible workspaces, which includeslocations in Short Hills and across the river in New York City.
Industrious Newport Tower is directly adjacent to the Newport PATH station with nearby access to the Holland Tunnel and NY Waterway ferry; and it offers direct access to the shopping, dining, and entertainment in Newport Centre Mall.
“As companies finalize their return-to-office strategies, they’re looking for spaces that make it easy and exciting for employees to come back in,” said Doug Feinberg, senior director of real estate at Industrious. “We’re thrilled to open a new location in Jersey City, our second in New Jersey, and proud to partner with BentallGreenOak to bring a flexible workplace offering to Newport Tower.”
Industrious Newport Tower will have private offices and shared workspaces for individuals and teams of various sizes, multiple conference rooms, a café and multiple lounge areas.
It’s slated to open the fourth quarter of 2022.
“Our partnership with Industrious offers a brilliant, new addition to Newport Tower that further complements BGO’s focus on amenitization to provide a differentiated and enhanced product offering for our tenant community,” said Rob Naso, managing director and head of U.S. asset management for BentallGreenOak. “We are eager to showcase Industrious’ well-designed and aesthetically appealing spaces with layouts and terms that cater to the ever-changing needs of tenants who view access to flexible, high quality space as an important enabler in their growth and expansion aspirations.”
