Landscape architecture, design and maintenance company Outdoor Digs is growing — fast — which necessitated a new location that provided access to its North and Central Jersey customers, could house its equipment, and serve as a place to service vehicles.

That’s according to NAI James E. Hanson, which announced negotiating the sale of a 10.78-acre mixed-use property at 152 Oldwick Road in Oldwick to Outdoor Digs April 21.

Vice President Sig Schorr represented both the buyer and the seller, Sblendorio Tewksbury Holding LLC, in the transaction; financial terms were not disclosed.

Outdoor Digs’ new location in Hunterdon County is a half mile from Interstate 78. The property is comprised of a 7,445-square-foot office building with two lower-level apartments, 48 approved parking spaces and a garage spread across two lots zoned for outdoor commercial storage.

“The outdoor storage sector continues to see tremendous demand from not only e-commerce distributors but professional services companies like landscapers that require well-located, secure and adaptable storage for their equipment,” Schorr said in a statement.

According to NAI Hanson, the property is just one of a few featuring such zoning in the Oldwick area. “Leveraging my market expertise, I was able to work with both the buyer and seller to negotiate a deal that allows each to achieve their unique business goals at this property,” Schorr added.

The property formerly housed a high-end landscaping company that looked to relocate as its clientele shifted further east and north, according to NAI Hanson.
