
Branchburg Centre – LARKEN ASSOCIATES
Larken Associates said Aug. 9 it secured a lease renewal with Kinedyne LLC for 6,371 square feet of office space in Branchburg.
Following its 2017 acquisition of 3040 U.S. Route 22 W., better known as Branchburg Centre, Larken sought to reach full occupancy at the existing 90,000-square-foot office building through a substantial capital improvement plan paired with an aggressive marketing and leasing strategy.
Renovations to the building included new LED lighting; contemporary glass walls; an updated lobby, cafeteria and lounge; as well as a complete overhaul of interior furnishings and exterior ornamentation.
With the goal of further enhancing the asset, Larken also announced its plans for the construction of an additional 19,000-square-foot, Class-A professional and medical office building on the property earlier this year.
A tenant at Branchburg Centre since 2016, Kinedyne is a leading cargo securement and cargo control company with operations in the United States, Canada and Mexico. With an eye toward continued growth, the company recognized that Larken’s commitment to customer service – paired with the property’s adaptability and location along Route 22 with convenient access to Routes 28, 31, 202 and 206 and Interstates 78 and 287 – made it an ideal long-term home for the company’s executive and administrative teams.
