Fast-casual sandwich franchise Jersey Mike’s Subs is coming to St. Georges Crossing in Woodbridge, adding another quality dining option to this Middlesex County shopping destination.

The 1,200-square-foot lease also brings the 343,000-square-foot property to 100% occupancy, according to an Aug. 12 announcement from Levin Management Corp. (LMC).

LMC Leasing Representative E.J. Moawad spearheaded the long-term transaction; Gary Krauss of Pierson Commercial Real Estate served as tenant broker.

“This Jersey Mike’s operator had been interested in St. Georges Crossing for quite some time,” said Moawad. “We are thrilled to accommodate their space needs while bringing a quality new dining element to the property. St. Georges Crossing has become a magnet for national brands that secure its position as a ‘one-stop shopping’ destination. We have no doubt this new Jersey Mike’s location will be embraced by the local community.”

“Philanthropy has been a part of my life and a guiding principle of Jersey Mike’s success,” said Peter Cancro. “To this day, I emphasize the importance of giving to my team: support the community that supports you.” Get the full story!

Jersey Mike’s will share a newly redeveloped, free-standing outparcel building, formerly occupied by a Bertucci’s restaurant, with a recently opened Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen and an Xfinity Retail Store that Comcast opened in 2019. The addition comes as national beauty retailer Ulta Beauty gears up to open a new, 10,000-square-foot store at St. Georges Crossing; construction is currently underway.

“This is a great example of our efforts not just to fill space, but to reposition space and fill it with the right tenants – brands that complement an existing tenant mix and add to a property’s dynamic,” said Moawad.

Well-located at the intersection of heavily traveled Route 1 and 9 and Route 35, the center is anchored by a high-volume ShopRite, with a strong retail, restaurant and service tenant mix including P.C. Richard & Son, T.J.Maxx, West Marine, Blu Alehouse, PetSmart, AutoZone, House of Wine & Liquor, European Wax Center, Visionworks, Taco Bell and GameStop.
