With just 25 permanent employees, the general contracting company brought in $8.6 billion in revenue last year from its South Jersey base in Franklinville, an unincorporated community in Gloucester County. That makes it the largest company in the southern half of the state on NJBIZ’s list.
And the company made that revenue while focusing on niche general contracting services, too — such as warfare technology, optical alignment, steel fabrication and water treatment.
Among other projects, the company is currently working with the U.S. Navy in developing new arresting gear for the recovery of jets on its aircraft carriers. The company’s lucrative partnership with the Navy goes back to 2002, three years after it got its start and began to grow in South Jersey.
