New Jersey Restaurant & Hospitality Association is welcoming new leadership.
In a Jan. 27 press release, the statewide trade association named Daniel Klim as president and chief executive officer.
Klim brings nearly three decades in nonprofit management to NJRHA. Most recently, he spent 12 years as executive director of the American Physical Therapy Associations of New Jersey and Delaware.
“As someone who has spent my career driving strategic growth and advocating for organizations, I am honored to join the New Jersey Restaurant and Hospitality Association at such a pivotal time,” Klim said. “New Jersey’s restaurants and hospitality businesses are resilient and creative, and I look forward to working side by side with our members, partners, and community leaders to ensure they have the resources and support they need to thrive.”
In his new role, Klim oversees day-to-day operations and leads strategic initiatives. That work includes enhancing member services, advocating for industry-friendly legislation and fostering community-driven partnerships.
NJHRA Chairman Denise Beckson commented, “Daniel’s proven track record of effective leadership, membership engagement, and stakeholder collaboration makes him the right person to guide our organization into the future.”
The change comes about six months after Dana Lancellotti resigned following three years with the organization. While the board searched for a replacement, it appointed its director of government affairs, Amanda Stone, as interim leader.
As the state’s leading hospitality trade association, NJRHA represents 19,000 foodservice establishments, hotels and other hospitality businesses. It provides advocacy, education and resources.
