Transwestern Commercial Services announced that construction is underway and the ground is now broken on the final building in Toll Brothers City Living’s mixed-use development at Maxwell Place in Hoboken.
1000 Maxwell Lane will feature a unique combination of street-level retail, six stories of state-of-the-art office, and five stories of elegant condominiums. TCS has been retained to provide leasing services for the 110,800 square feet of planned office space, with Managing Director Matt McDonough heading the leasing team.
Located at the intersection of 11th Street and Maxwell Lane in uptown Hoboken, the development is part of the Maxwell Place development including three luxury residential towers comprising 755 units, a waterfront park, and a diverse mix of retail.
The office building at 1000 Maxwell Lane forms an important component of the evolution of the larger Maxwell Place project into a true live-work-play enclave, Transwestern said.
“Maxwell Place is a unique project that brings diversity to the Hoboken waterfront, and 1000 Maxwell Lane is an important final component of the project,” said Henry Waller, vice president of Toll Brothers City Living. “Being the first speculative office development built during the current market cycle, 1000 Maxwell Lane is a distinctive mixed-use project meeting the needs of Hoboken’s growing community of entrepreneurs, new ventures, and tenants in the technology, advertising, media and information industries.”
Maxwell Place is adjacent to the 14th Street New York Waterway ferry terminal, approximately a mile from the Lincoln Tunnel entrance and Route 495, which provides access to the New Jersey Turnpike as well as Routes 3, 1 and 9. Multiple public transportation options are available in the area including the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail, PATH trains, New Jersey Transit lines, and New York Waterway.
Maxwell Place is a joint venture between Toll Brothers and Pinnacle Downtown.
