A new model for doing business has accelerated growth at One Horn Transportation. Three years ago, the company switched from a traditional transportation brokerage to an agent-based brokerage: It recruits agents around the country and provides the backoffice tools and systems to help them serve their customers. Founded in 2005, One Horn provides trucking and logistics services to manufacturers and distributors of fresh and frozen food, industrial materials and consumer goods throughout the U.S. and Canada.
