John McDonough will serve as chief financial officer, overseeing all financial operations and strategy, while Justin Craigie will be executive vice president of operations and growth, in charge of expansion of the company’s pharmacies and integrating acquisitions, the company said in a news release.

“Both John and Justin have extensive experience within the health care industry, and proven track records of executing growth strategies and building long-term value,” CEO Michael Segal said in a prepared statement. “We’re pleased to welcome them to the team.”

McDonough has more than 25 years of experience in health care financial management, the company said. Before joining PharmScript, he held leadership roles with American Renal Associates, a provider of outpatient dialysis services.

Craigie also has lengthy experience in the health care services industry, most recently as a vice president with equity firm Summit Partners.
