Pickleball Kingdom will open in Hamilton at a Denholtz Properties site built in 2023.
The commercial real estate investment and development company announced the full-building, 40,500-square-foot lease at 1100 Negron Drive on July 18.
In May, the indoor pickleball facilities franchise announced it would open in Hamilton as part of a 20-location Garden State rollout. At the time, franchisor Samrat “Sam” Sood said he expected the club to debut this fall.
The Mercer County location is located less than a quarter-mile from the intersection of Interstate 195 and Route 130. It is a mile from Exit 7A on the New Jersey Turnpike.
Sood and Pickleball Kingdom plan to construct a 14-court arena at the Negron Drive property. Additionally, the site will feature conference rooms, meeting areas, a lounge and parking as well as a mezzanine overlooking the courts.
For Denholtz, the property fits in with the Red Bank-based company’s larger light industrial portfolio. Other projects include:
“This lease highlights the continued strong demand for highly adaptable properties like 1100 Negron Drive in the current market,” commented Kris Hurlbut, senior vice president, Leasing, Denholtz Properties.” We are excited to welcome Pickleball Kingdom to Hamilton and watch them bring residents of the central New Jersey area together with this facility.”
