Primark will open its second New Jersey location in East Rutherford on March 19, starting the first wave of retail openings at American Dream, and coinciding with the opening of North America’s largest indoor waterpark at the megamall.

The 42,200-square-foot, single-floor store will sell women’s, men’s and children’s clothing as well as, footwear, accessories, lingerie, beauty and homewares.

More than 300 local jobs have been created at Primark in American Dream – the brand’s 10th stateside opening and 378th globally – including retail assistants, supervisors, and management and visual merchandising roles. The company is still recruiting.

“The unique make-up of American Dream and its offering to customers is reflective of our own ethos to provide something for everyone, and we look forward to being part of the mall’s vibrant and diverse retail offering. We are excited to welcome new colleagues and customers to the store,” said Primark U.S. President Andy Stewart in a prepared statement.

He alluded to “a few surprises” on opening day at the new store.

The first Primark location in New Jersey is located at the Freehold Raceway Mall.
