Tony Boys Sandwich House is preparing to make its Passaic County debut.
Located at 239 Berdan Ave. in Wayne, the gourmet sandwich chain plans to open this fall, according to a social media announcement.
Founded in 2017 by Anthony Marra Jr. as a small sandwich shop in Livingston, the eatery boasts a large menu of sandwiches and salads crafted with premium ingredients.

When restaurant industry veteran Marra set out to create his fast-casual concept, he wanted to offer “things that were fun, interesting and unique” alongside “classic sub-shop stables.”
Along with its signature chicken and eggplant cutlets, Tony Boys is becoming popular for offerings like the Nutty Pig (chicken or eggplant cutlet with warm peanut butter sauce, bacon and jelly) and the Tony Boloney (fried bologna, melted American cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise).
After teaming up with Philadelphia-based hospitality group MBB Management seven years ago to develop a franchise system, Tony Boys has opened three more locations (Madison, Montville, Montclair).
An outpost is also due to open sometime this summer in Cranford.
With a focus on smart, sustainable growth, Marra has said he’ll be happy if, 10 years from now, there are 10 stores in New Jersey “with solid business owners.”
In Wayne, Tony Boys is taking space at Point View Shopping Center. Fellow tenants include Atlantic Health System, Outback Steakhouse, Sunrise Bagels, UPS Store, SportsMed Rehab and F45 Training.
Following its grand opening, Tony Boys will be open daily for pickup, delivery, dine-in and catering.
Commenting on the launch, the chain shared, “Tony Boys can’t wait to bring Wayne the sandwiches, chop’d salads, cheesesteaks, and milkshakes you’ve been craving. What started as one small sandwich shop continues to grow, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the support that made it possible.”
