As part of an ongoing goal to foster economic and community development, Provident Bank awarded $88,000 in grants to nine nonprofit organizations in New Jersey that are making a difference.
Through its Community Partnership Program, the Iselin-based financial institution seeks to empower communities within its footprint to assist in promoting long-term prosperity.
As part of the initiative, Provident’s grants support the work of a range of groups dedicated to community development, economic empowerment, financial literacy and education and support for housing and homeownership in low and moderate-income communities.

In a Sept. 16 press release announcing the awards, Roxanne Camejo, senior vice president, community development officer of Provident Bank, said, “These grant recipients exemplify the profound impact that strategic community investment can provide. We are excited to support the missions of these organizations and help them expand their reach and enhance their ability to serve their communities.”
