Optical retailer America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses is now open at Somerville Circle Shopping Center in Raritan.

The 3,000-square-foot store brings the 150,000-square-foot property to 100 percent occupancy, according to North Plainfield-based Levin Management Corp. (LMC), the exclusive leasing and managing agent.

LMC Senior Leasing Representative Vanessa Fernandez-Kelty arranged the America’s Best deal; Cushman & Wakefield, and David Dunkelman of Soloff Realty & Development represented the tenant.

This latest addition to the center comes as national off-price retailer Burlington Stores is gearing up to open a 46,000-square-foot store at Somerville Circle Shopping Center.

“We are thrilled to introduce America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses to the mix at this high-demand property,” said Fernandez-Kelty. “America’s Best marks a new retail category for Somerville Circle, and this brand represents a quality addition. This property has become a magnet for national brands that secure its position as a ‘one-stop shopping’ destination.”

Located at 300 Route 202, at the intersection of Routes 202/206 and Route 28, Somerville Circle Shopping Center is anchored by P.C. Richard & Son and serves as home to Staples, Petco, Carter’s, Jersey Mike’s, Panera Bread, Burger King, Five Below and Harmon Discount.
