Reckitt voluntarily pulls Lysol washing machine cleaner

Lysol® Washing Machine Cleaner, Lot MAB21298 — Lysol Washing Machine Cleaner, Lot MAB21298 – RECKITT

Reckitt is voluntarily withdrawing a specific lot of 860 bottles of Lysol Washing Machine Cleaner, the company announced Nov. 24.

The particular lot is sold in 36-fluid-ounce, child resistant bottles, but doesn’t meet the ingredient standards as listed on the packaging.

The bottles were sold exclusively at stores in California, Arizona, Utah and Oregon between Nov. 6, 2021 and Nov. 22.

Reckitt said in a statement that consumers should stop using the product from this lot immediately and should contact the company’s consumer relations hotline at 1-800-228-4722 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

This voluntary withdrawal is specific to Lot MAB21298. The lot code can be found printed on the top of the back of the bottle. The UPC code is 0 19200 99837 6; and the date code is MAB21298.

The recall does not impact other lots of this product.
