Rite Aid opens 3 more free COVID-19 testing sites in NJ

Rite Aid is opening two more self-swab COVID-19 testing locations Middlesex County and one in Camden County on Monday, June 22.

In Perth Amboy at 76 Smith St., in Parlin at 3553 Washington Road, and in Clementon at 101 White Horse Pike, free testing will be offered Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Adults 18 years of age or older, even if they’re asymptomatic, are eligible for testing and can begin pre-registering online to schedule an appointment.

As of Monday, Rite Aid will have the capacity to conduct more than 48,000 tests weekly across 97 locations nationwide through online appointments through its partnership with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Rite Aid uses Verily’s Baseline COVID-19 Program to provide screening, scheduling and return of results to participants for Rite Aid testing sites. Samples will be tested in BioReference Laboratories. National clinician network PWNHealth provides testing oversight.

Rite Aid initially began offering testing at some New Jersey locations in May.
