Leadership is changing at one of New Jersey’s oldest and largest law firms.
Starting Jan. 1, 2026, Marc Rollo will take the helm as president of Archer & Greiner PC, the firm announced in a press release. Rollo will succeed Christopher Gibson, who has held the post since 2010, Archer said.
Rollo currently chairs the firm’s environmental law practice. He brings more than three decades of experience and management to his new position. In addition to serving as president, Rollo will continue to maintain his national regulatory and litigation practice, according to Archer.
The firm noted the appointment is “the result of a top-to-bottom strategic planning process” and it expects a “collaborative transition” between Gibson and Rollo. Archer added that Debbie Hays will continue as chair of the board of directors and Stacey Sinclair will remain as chief operating officer.
Commenting on the changes ahead, Gibson said, “This transition was carefully planned and thoughtfully implemented to ensure a seamless experience for our valued attorneys, clients, and partners. It’s been an honor to help meaningfully grow Archer over the past 15 years, and I know the firm will continue to flourish with Marc at the helm.”

According to Archer, Gibson will continue his role as leader of the firm’s litigation practice. He represents national, regional and local corporations in complex civil and commercial litigation matters.
In addition to growing Archer into a powerhouse firm known for exceptional client service and legal excellence, Gibson was the driving force behind elevating the firm into the state political arena with the launch of Archer Public Affairs and a political law & compliance practice.
Rollo said the firm is “immensely grateful to Chris for his steadfast leadership and decisive guidance, shaping Archer into the sophisticated midsize firm we are today.”
He went on to say, “This is an exciting time of growth and positive momentum. We look forward to capitalizing on strategic areas of opportunity to build and expand on our core strengths and enhance the breadth and depth of services we provide to clients.”
A trio of jurists, F. Morse Archer Jr., Judge William Boyle and Frederick Greiner, founded the firm 97 years ago in Camden. The practice began as an alternative to Philadelphia firms, while offering the same caliber of legal services.
Over the years, Archer continued to open offices and grow existing practices. It provides full-service litigation and transactional legal services to clients ranging from Fortune 100 corporations and small and middle-market companies, to closely held and family-owned businesses.
With more than 175 attorneys spanning nine offices, the firm handles nearly every area of law, including business counseling, labor & employment, real estate, health care, intellectual property, family & matrimonial, personal injury, public finance, tax, trusts & estates, bankruptcy, land use and environmental law.
Within New Jersey, Archer has offices in Voorhees, Hackensack, Princeton and Red Bank. It also has locations in:
