Archer & Greiner PC, one of New Jersey’s largest full-service law firms, is launching a new political law & compliance practice. The group will serve clients operating in highly regulated political and governmental environments.
Partners Jason Sena and David Weinstein co-chair the group. The multidisciplinary team will work with a wide range of entities from across the state and beyond, including businesses, trade associations, nonprofits, political action committees, lobbying firms, candidates, political parties and contributors, Archer said.
According to the firm, the practice will provide legal counsel at the federal, state and local levels in areas such as:

Besides Sena and Weinstein, the team also includes William Caruso. A partner and managing director of Archer Public Affairs, Caruso helps lead the firm affiliate that provides comprehensive government and regulatory affairs advice.
Sena said, “Our political law & compliance group is a natural evolution of Archer’s longstanding work advising clients at the intersection of law, public policy, and politics. With heightened legal scrutiny and a rapidly changing regulatory landscape, clients need forward-thinking, practical guidance to stay compliant and achieve their goals.”
Weinstein added, “Our team understands both the complexities of the law and the operational realities of political engagement. That combination allows us to deliver strategic, real-world counsel to help clients mitigate risk while navigating campaigns, elections, lobbying, and government processes.”
Founded in 1928, Archer provides full-service litigation and transactional legal services. Its clients range from Fortune 100 corporations and small and middle-market companies to closely held and family-owned businesses.
Archer boasts more than 175 attorneys spanning nine offices. The firm handles nearly every area of law, including business counseling, labor & employment, real estate, health care, intellectual property, family & matrimonial, personal injury, public finance, tax, trusts & estates, bankruptcy, land use and environmental law.
In addition to its Voorhees headquarters, Archer has local offices in Hackensack, Princeton and Red Bank. It has out of state locations in Pennsylvania (Philadelphia and Harrisburg), Delaware (Wilmington), Texas (Houston) and New York (Manhattan).
Firm President Christopher Gibson remarked, “This new practice group reflects Archer’s continued commitment to staying ahead of our clients’ needs in a complex legal and regulatory environment. The political law & compliance group will further strengthen our ability to deliver high-level, strategic counsel to clients involved in all facets of the political process.”
